It’s All About Resources
Recycle, Recovery and Re-Use
Recycling up to 80% of waste disposed at Acacia Ridge, BMI Resource Recovery is committed to providing sustainable practices, industry leading solutions and consistent improvement in recycling, resource re-use and resource recovery.
BMI Group operates conveniently located facilities across South East Queensland providing recycling, waste transfer and landfill activities and in February 2012, Watson Road Resource Recovery, our largest landfill and a fixture of the South East Queensland recycling industry since 1983, opened its new recycling facility. This has led us to significantly reduce waste to landfill and maximise recyclables in South East Queensland. Recyclables include but are not limited to concrete, timber, green waste, soils, sands, and metals.
In addition to waste disposal and resource recovery services, BMI Resource Recovery also provide a broad range of quality recycled concrete products for use in the building, landscaping and civil construction industries, which are available for pick up or delivery from select sites. Customers are welcome to visit us at Acacia Ridge or Redbank Plains to view our selection of recycled concrete aggregates, road base, sandstone and porphyry products, or contact the site for pricing information.
BMI Group is focused not only on business, but also on community, and works with local schools and associations on sponsorship and support projects. For more information on our current involvement with the Oxley Creek Catchment Association and Watson Road State School, check out our community and education page. Alternatively, if you association or school is seeking assistance with recycling, education or sponsorship, please contact the BMI Sales Team on 07 3272 0143.
