Site updates
Commencing Thursday 1 October 2026 –Â BMI is planning future development works at the following locations:
- Pine Mountain Road, Mt Gravatt East
- Bogside Mining Industries, Newhill Drive, Swanbank
As a result, the types of material accepted at these sites will change. Only dry and compactable clean earth will be accepted.
The following materials will no longer be accepted:
- Wet/Mud soils
- Un-compactable soils
- Any other unsuitable clean fill materials i.e. grassy fill
Site Availability
- These sites will no longer operate on Saturdays.
- Sites may be temporarily closed during periods of wet weather.
